  10. Now here's something odd. Aweb works just fine for me using an old 14.4 
  11. modem. Tonight I bought home a brand new USR Sportster Vi 28.8.

  13. The USR seems to be running fine for most things. However, now, every 
  14. time I ask AWeb to connect to a site (I have it set to display the local 
  15. hotlist by default on startup), it goes off to do the connection, and 
  16. then after a longish pause the next result is the modem hanging up!

  18. Anyone come across this? Anyone got a _fix_ for this!? Given the fact 
  19. that I have a very low-powered machine, I'd rather prefer to use AWeb 
  20. over IBrowse (besides, IBrowse doesn't appear to display the Alta Vista 
  21. page particularly well...).
